FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NORMAN, OK — Heidelberg, Germany, home of Renaissance castles and Gothic churches, is the destination for the 2007 travel-study opportunity offered by the University of Oklahoma, College of Liberal Studies. The trip, scheduled July 22-July 29, 2007, offers OU students the opportunity to earn three college credit hours while studying the cultural history of Germany.
Gothic cathedrals, medieval castles and authentic German villages are just some of the sites students will visit during the learning journey. Guided by a knowledgeable Heidelberg native and Allison Palmer, Ph.D., OU professor of art history, the trip will increase students’ knowledge of German art and humanities from the Gothic through the Renaissance and Baroque eras.
